Under 18's Divisions (Kids and Juvenile)

Below are divisions and brief explanations/information for what qualifies for each for under 18's.

Please note the following:-

- Full IBJJF Rules can be found here - Books and Videos | IBJJF.

- Our event is based on belt level and grappling experience.

- The event is to help all ages and levels gain experience and especially to have fun.

- In 2022 we will do our best to give under 18 years old competitors two bouts where possible.

*This will not be possible if only 2 enter a division or if injuries/no shows occur and then it is out of our hands.

- All under 18's divisions are mixed boys and girls in 2022, this will be reviewed for 2023 if numbers increase in each division.

- The parent/guardian/competitor that registers any under 18 competitor MUST make sure they are in the correct weight and experience division prior to the amendments deadline (7 days before any event). If they are not, then they will be DQ'd and cannot move after the deadline and especially not on the day.

- All parents accompanying their children must pay the spectators fee on the day of the competition (only £5).

- Unless their allocated coach, no parents are allowed beyond the barrier into the matted area under any circumstances.

- Any aggression or abuse to anyone will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the event and risk the competitor being DQ'd.
