Male Divisions (Adult, Master & Senior)

Below are divisions and brief explanations/information for what qualifies for each Adult, Master and Senior division in the Male divisions.

Please note the following:-

- Full IBJJF Rules can be found here - Books and Videos | IBJJF.

- Our event is based on belt level and grappling experience.

- The event is to help all ages and levels gain experience and especially to have fun.

- In 2022, a losers bout will only be applicable for Beginner & Novice divisions.

*This will not be possible if only 2 enter a division or if injuries/no shows occur and then it is out of our hands.

- Intermediate, Advance & Elite divisions will be straight knockout but can also enter Cash Absolute divisions.

*Adult and above competitors can also enter our Cash Prize Absolutes at all belt/experience levels.

- All competitors MUST make sure they are in the correct weight and experience division prior to the amendments deadline (7 days before any event). If they are not, then they will be DQ'd and cannot move after the deadline and especially not on the day.

- Unless their allocated coach, no other person is allowed beyond the barrier into the matted area with you under any circumstances.

- Any aggression or abuse to anyone will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave the event and risk the competitor being DQ'd.
